Definition of Maybe (Webster’s Dictionary);
“a word used to describe that something is possible, or that something might be true.”
THE MOVIE
Based on the place and the mindset of the United States Military Academy Prep School 1985, the School of Maybe is an upcoming documentary about the unusual power of possibilities and perseverance in the face of uncertainty.
In 2023, most young adults are challenged by the unknown, the undetermined and the uncertain. And yet, it is the not knowing that opens unique pathways to self-discovery, deeper relationships and the achievable mindset to overcome life’s many obstacles.
THE PLACE
This film is a little bit about the place of Fort Monmouth, NJ (the future home of Netflix) but it is much more about the mindset of maybe and the unmistakable power of seeing and embracing possibilities. Sharing their stories and insights about the unusual power of maybe, 10 classmates reunited from the West Point Prep School of 1985, with the retired barracks and buildings in the backdrop.
THE MINDSET
Everyone has “maybe” in their lives. In fact, life is a sequence of maybes, of choices and chances to excel, or fail. The School of Maybe is a mentality that anyone can attend and everyone should learn.
What is uncertain does not define who we are but invites us to look longer and deeper at what we can become.
