The Leadership Cycle

STAGE 1: Leadership AWARENESS. A situation arises; a leader steps forward, takes the helm and acts in that capacity.

STAGE 2: Leadership DEVELOPMENT. The appropriate leadership style is developed. Growth is achieved by observing others and from personal experiences.

STAGE 3: Leadership MATURITY. Leaders at this stage have proven performance. Some believe that past behaviours are indicators of future success and may become complacent thereby fast forwarding to

STAGE 4: Leadership REINVENTION. This stage is characterized by adaptability and change. It fosters Leadership longevity. Learning is a lifelong process. Successful leaders are always reinventing themselves.

STAGE 5: Leadership DECLINE. Everything comes to an end. A leader must accept when the journey is over and let go. The goal is to make more leaders. Once succession planning was embraced the work goes on. Unethical behaviour or poor performance can thrust a leader to Stage 5(Decline), thereby skipping the sequential order of stages.

Business and general life is about dialogue that we `all` understand and respond to. So make the playing field equal, so all people understand the language used and the action to take, to receive and accept, so business life and general life is successful for `all` involved.

Yes, you can achieve all things in life by your attitude to be positive, you have the solution in you, so go forward and use it now!
